The Manifold Policy Statements

This page will be expanded as time proceeds forward and new challenges present themselves in the face of those rare commodities, common sense and courtesy.

The policy, BBS_Etiquette, are leftovers from that bygone age (or so it may seem to some) of BBSing from whence PODsnet got its start.  These standards will be found to be as applicable and appropriate today as they were 'back' then. But then we, as PODsters, intuitively know and practice the basic PODS policy of "Be Kind to One Another", don't we?.

When visiting the page listed above, please bear in mind that you have not entered a time warp, nor have you been transferred to another system. If you notice the page header you will see that these particular policy pages were taken from Tj's old experimental WalkingDRUM BBS and PPP-server, are are presented here for historical reference.

Of course, with the new technology of the internet, there absolutly must arise an equally new set of disclaimers. It should be obvious that even more restrictions are needed to be placed in force, for are we not dealing with a technology that is new? So it is that we work on producing more policy statements. Please remember however that policies are there but to assist and serve as reference to assist the un-informed in the return to the practices of common sense and of courtesy.
